The Aquatec ERP-1000 permeate pump is for RO systems ranging from 50-120 GPD. The pump uses no electricity, only hydraulic pressure from RO brine to pump permeate to the storage tank. Installation of a permeate pump will improve membrane performance and reduces brine water to drain by up to 80%. An RO system with a permeate pump requires no automatic shut off valve, which shuts off water flow when system pressure reaches 60-65% of line pressure. A permeate pump will continue to operate until system pressure is equal to line pressure, significantly increasing system pressure and water delivery to the faucet. Permeate Pump. Aquatec ERP-500 permeate pump Aquatec ERP-500 permeate pump is designed for RO systems 24-75 GPD. The pump uses no electricity, only hydraulic pressure from RO brine to pump permeate to the storage tank. Installation of a permeate pump will improve RO water recovery and reduce RO storage tank fill time, improve membrane performance and increase membrane lifetime, and reduce brine water to drain by up to 80%. An RO system with a permeate pump requires no automatic shut off (ASO) valve, which shuts off water flow when system pressure reaches 60-65% of line pressure. A permeate pump will continue to operate until system pressure is equal to line pressure, increasing system pressure 35-40% (compared to ASO valve) and water delivery to the faucet. The Aquatec ERP-500 Permeate Pump will bring storage tanks up to line pressure, then shut the system down when the tank reaches capacity, removing the need for a hydraulic shut-off valve. Permeate pumps also deliver faster RO water production, higher delivery pressures, superior water quality, and extended filter/membrane capacity.Features:No electricity required.
