Also, clean the groove where the O-ring sits. Replace O-ring in the groove above threads. Screw the bowl back on the filter head securely by hand, then use the wrench to fit it snugly. Do not over tighten. Q: Leaks on inlet/outlet connections. A1: Wrap the Teflon tape around pipe threads of each fitting in a clockwise direction, add more tape as necessary for the correct seal. A2: Brass fittings may require to tighten ½-turn with a wrench. Do not over tighten. Q: Leaks from the pressure release button. A: The pressure release button has a screw under the bracket.Simply tighten that screw and the leaking should stop. Q: Water Pressure is slowing after some time. Q: Water appears cloudy and grey.A: The water may appear cloudy or grey for the first 3-5 days after installation due to the tiny air bubbles being purged from the filters and extra carbon dust in the water.
